Recently bought a Corona 3 from Toronto Typewriters. I truly enjoyed the overall experience. Chris knows his stuff and he took the time to walk me through his inventory, even remotely as we did by video call. The machine I received was as described on the website, nicely cleaned and oiled, with a new ribbon and new rubber feet. Delivery went very well too, perfectly packed and arrived on time. I am very happy with my purchase. A highly recommended place for vintage typewriters with a new life !

What an amazing place! I brought my daughter's 1930 Remington 5 in for service. I had found the typewriter on eBay and frankly it didn't work properly at all. Chris found out what was wrong and fixed it so that it was as good as new. He also took the time to show my daughter some of the cool old typewriters he has in the shop. This store is a gem!

I was inspired by a friend to purchase typewriters for me and my 6-year old daughter. There is so much learning that can come from them. I came to Chris’ shop knowing nothing about typewriters. Chris was wonderful at teaching me about different models and making recommendations. I ended up purchasing one manual and one electronic typewriter. Both had unique qualities and gives a very different experience. Even if you don’t end up purchasing a typewriter, even making an appointment to visit the shop is an interesting experience in itself. I highly recommend!
